Is Your School Prepared For an Ofsted Inspection?

In a bid to improve the regulatory framework for maintained school governance, the DfE are introducing a number of new guidelines for the Single Central Register, which are included in the new Keeping Children Safe in Education document, due to come into force September 2016.

Due to popular demand, Personnel Checks are holding briefing sessions facilitated by a guest speaker who has a vast amount of inspection experience. Up-to-date information and knowledge related to safeguarding under Ofsted’s revised Common Inspection Framework (CIF) September 2015 will assist your organisation’s preparation for inspection.

Personnel Checks are a top DBS Umbrella Bodies in the UK and have a team of safeguarding experts who provide a robust and professional service to a variety of sectors nationwide.

Our training is delivered in partnership with FusionHR, who together with Personnel Checks have over 35 years’ experience in providing DBS and HR services to the education sector, applying relevant examples and advice.

The events will explain the requirements of safeguarding under Ofsted’s revised Common Inspection Framework (CIF) September 2015, and help ensure you’re meeting them as well as prepare you for future inspections.

Delegates attending the training will;

  • Gain the knowledge to ensure that your single central register is up to date and compliant with Ofsted requirements
  • Receive guidance on the responsibility of the school for disqualification by association
  • Be given a clear explanation of what Ofsted are looking for when inspecting safeguarding in maintained schools, academies and early years' settings relation to staff, documentation, policies and procedures
  • Have the opportunity to speak with DBS Professionals who will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on the DBS checking process as well as answer any questions you may have
