Support for Academy Conversion

If you are one of the many schools currently preparing to transfer to Academy status, you will already know that there are many things to consider and the process is quite complex.

Personnel Checks and FusionHR have over 35 years' experience in providing DBS and HR services to the education sector, applying relevant examples and advice.

Alongside FusionHR, who have advised many schools through TUPE transfers, we have developed a package which will guide you seamlessly through the process, providing HR support and a range of documents to make the transition easier.

This will include:

  • Advice regarding consultation with employees and representatives
  • Liaison with the legal team managing your TUPE transfer
  • Support for the leadership team at staff and union consultation sessions
  • Advice on the preparation of Employee Liability Information and deadlines
  • Advice on changing policies and procedures, terms and conditions
  • Template letters to issue to staff throughout the consultation process
  • Model power-point presentations to identify and communicate measures

We have vast experience of dealing with trade unions and supporting with staff consultations and we can help you to ensure a smooth transfer.

Alongside providing HR support we can also provide a variety of training sessions for the Education Sector.
